New Premium Theme on the Block: “Blubs”
My friend has recently released a new, premium WordPress theme that you buy under a license-based system. My first impressions are that this theme is really beautiful, especially the logo (which is an image, by the way).
From a wannabe-designer’s point-of-view, the colors are awesome and so is the background pattern, I think it all flows together very well.
The single license will set you back $49, which means you’ll only be able to use it on one domain; and the developer license will cost you $99, although you’ll be able to use the theme on unlimited domains/blogs. No license allows you to re-sell or redistribute the theme though.
Definitely worth a look if you’re in the market for a new, elegant WordPress theme.
On another note …
I’m also looking into getting a new WordPress theme, so far I’m interested in designing my own then distributing it for free. Very dark themes (like the one I’m currently using) are known to get very little pageviews per visit, and that seems to be true so far, so I’m looking into developing a simplistic, light theme.
