Check it out!

So they were giving away these little beauties at the Adelaide Adobe CS5 roadshow last Tuesday to those that asked good questions/answered questions about the products. I didn’t think of a good question or anything of that sort so instead I just went to Twitter and asked them for a Rubik’s cube. That [...]

Say Goodbye to IE

A little while ago now I discovered a neat little site: DearIE6, and I used it to say goodbye to Internet Explorer.

Very cool idea. And to be quite honest, I don’t use IE. My friend that does my coding work checks on occasion (I hope) if the code works in IE, so that’s good enough [...]

Thank You for the Nugget of Wisdom!

Since installing cforms (a comment form plugin for WordPress) on a few of my Blogs, I’ve noticed some strange spam making its way into my inbox.

Of course all of these weird spam emails come with lots of spam links, but some seem to contain short nuggets of wisdom (or so I think!). I can overlook [...]

I’ve used a mix of Digsby and [...]

Today, I found that PhotoshopStar was just included in the recent update of Blogpond’s Top 100 Australian Blogs list, which has been around for a fair while now. It made #9 on it’s debut.

PSDTUTS, a similar blog [...]

But it said LETTERS …

So the CAPTCHAs these days are really trying to test the intelligence of us regular folk, particularly the RapidShare ones. You see, they want us to pick out the letters that have cats on them, but I got it wrong the first time, so the second time around I actually entered the number with a [...]

When people go to the trouble of putting in a lot of work to make something really cool (for us to use for free) we gotta try to give ‘em some link love! Right? Well, anyway, G56ogle. Wicked eh? I know for a fact that Google has a heap of domains like Gooooogle with extra [...]

Alexa Updates

Looks like Alexa has recently made some changes to the way they rank websites, or, at least they’re now using more sources other than their trusty ole toolbar.
There’s plenty of good reading material on the subject, of which you can find a few of my favorites here: ProBlogger, TechCrunch, Mashable.
Wellsir .. PhotoshopStar went from 45k [...]
