I don’t mean to brag here (although as of late, everyone has so many subscribers, this is hardly a feat), but I have 1337 subscribers on PhotoshopStar ;)

Just my thoughts and opinions here (I’ve experienced the StumbleUpon effect a few times).
The only way StumbleUpon traffic could be useful is if you got tens of thousands of visits from it, and you’re using a CPM ad network that pays you for the impressions, because:

Looks like Alexa has recently made some changes to the way they rank websites, or, at least they’re now using more sources other than their trusty ole toolbar.

Well, PhotoshopStar’s just received its first ever action from del.icio.us today. Up until now, PhotoshopStar has never really broken the saved by 300 people mark, it’s now around 900!

Yep, I’ve finally managed to get myself on page 1 of Google.com for the phrase photoshop tutorials!
I’m really happy about this, seeing as though I was stuck on page 2 for a matter of months, now I’m just hoping that it doesn’t go and drop back to page 3 or something absurd straight away ;) […]
So, for a few months I’m getting no traffic from StumbleUpon whatsoever, then all of a sudden I get 1000 visits, then the next day it’s down to 500, then down to almost nothing with 45 visits, but then back up to 1200 :) Gotta love SU and it’s unpredictability! I do so love the […]
